South Carolina ran away NC State in the Final Four matchup, largely due to Kamilla Cardoso and Raven Johnson's performances on the offensive end of the court.

As the fourth quarter dwindled, Johnson was on a scoring hot streak but she came down awkwardly on her right leg and had to be taken to the locker room with just under 5 minutes left in the game.

Johnson was seen fussing with her right hamstring as trainers escorted her off the court and back to the locker room.

Johnson had 13 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals when she walked off the court.

Cardoso went down in the first half just a couple of minutes before halftime but made her return when the second half began.

The two Gamecock players have been stars this season and are integral pieces of head coach Dawn Staley's team.

With four minutes remaining, the South Carolina Gamecocks had a 20-point lead over the NC State Wolfpack.

The winner of the South Carolina versus NC State matchup will face the winner of the Iowa and UConn matchup in the National Championship game.

After approximately 10 minutes of real time, Johnson was seen returning to the sidelines from the locker room.

Johnson did not return to the court in the final minutes of the game.

South Carolina defeated NC State 78-59 to move on to the National Championship game.
