South Carolina coach Shane Beamer and his team are 1-0 after the first week of the season and hope to move that mark to 2-0 after a road trip to Lexington, Kentucky.

On Saturday, the Gamecocks and Wildcats will play at Commonwealth Stadium (Kroger Field) in both team's SEC season opener. The 3:30 PM ET kickoff will be broadcast on ABC and will be streamed on ESPN+ and the ESPN app.

For DirecTV customers who do not have access to ABC or the ESPN family of networks right now because of the ongoing carriage dispute between DirecTV and Disney, here is a helpful guide for some ways to watch the game this weekend.

Right now, the South Carolina football team isn't dealing with too many injuries ahead of Saturday's contest. The newly mandated SEC player availability reports this week have had six Gamecocks listed (and there are at least two others confirmed to be out who are not on the report). Zahbari Sandy, Aaryn Parks, and Jakai Moore will not play this weekend, and defensive back Emory Floyd is listed as doubtful. David Spaulding is questionable, and Bangally Kamara, Gilber Edmond, and Bryan Thomas, Jr. all are called probable on the most recent availability report. It will be updated once more on Friday night and again before kickoff.

The Wildcats opened as a 6.5-point betting favorite, and the line jumped up to 10.5 quickly. Then, later in the week, the Gamecocks closed the gap a bit to 8.5 points. Since then, the spread has fluctuated from showing UK as an 8.5-point favorite to USC being a 10-point underdog. With the game expected to be a close, low-scoring affair, the over/under point total is set for just 45 points by most betting outlets.

The Gamecocks have won two in a row over their SEC rival but have not won three in a row since 2011-2013.
