- The Gamecocks were without offensive linemen Aaryn Parks and Jakai Moore. Defensive back Zahbari Sandy is out for the season. Defensive back Emory Floyd was also out.
- Potential contributors like Nick Barrett, Tyshawn Russell, and Djay Braswell were not on the dress list, but based on the availability report, they don't seem to be injured.
- LaNorris Sellers went to the locker room with an undisclosed lower-body injury at the end of the 1st quarter. Robby Ashford came in the game in his stead.
