Week 3 in college football saw some surprises across the country on Saturday. Texas A&M lost at home to unranked Kentucky 31-21, and Alabama hung 50 on Florida State at home. USC survived on the road against Rutgers, and Louisville got the best of SMU in an ACC battle 41-31.
In Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford with LSU, Trinidad Chambliss and the Rebels got the best of the Tigers, winning 32-24. Here's a look at the Top 25 AP Poll after Week 3:

We did see some teams breaking the AP poll this week, one coming thanks to how poorly South Carolina played. The Mississippi State Bulldogs vaulted into the rankings after the 41-34 win over the Gamecocks on Saturday.
Also new to the rankings are the Florida Gators, who are 3-0 with a 44-39 victory over the Auburn Tigers on the road.
Ole Miss also jumped into the top five after beating LSU, and South Carolina's Week 4 opponent, Alabama, jumped two spots after the Tide's big win over Florida State. The rest of the top-three remained unchanged, with Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame getting wins and remaining where they were last week.
For South Carolina, the Gamecocks now have to play five ranked teams on their schedule, including the Crimson Tide next week, including the Gators, Vols, Aggies and Bulldogs.
South Carolina opens as two-score underdogs on the road against Alabama.
