Las Vegas Raiders add experienced South Carolina DT in fourth round of 2025 NFL Draft

South Carolina defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway is officially headed to the NFL. Drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders as the No. 135 pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Raiders have added a juggernaut to their defense.

Hemingway showcased his durability and experience on the field, appearing in 61 games over his five years as a Gamecock. He tied the school record for most games played, making 28 starts and finishing with 17.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 11 pass breakups, 19 quarterback hurries, and six fumble recoveries.

Hemingway impressed at the NFL Combine with an 84-athleticism score, the highest among all defensive tackles this year, and will prove to be a big addition for the Raiders.
