Update: It was just confirmed on the TV broadcast that LaNorris Sellers will be out for the rest of the game after taking a hit to the head in the first half. Shane Beamer told the broadcast team as USC took the field for the second half. It is unknown exactly what Sellers' injury is.
Wide receiver Nyck Harbor did return to the field for the second half and looks to be good to go after his injury as well.
South Carolina fans are currently holding their breath as their star quarterback LaNorris Sellers is no where to be found on the field.
After taking a really hard hit by Vanderbilt's Langston Patterson, which resulted in a targeting call, Sellers had to be helped off the field after looking a bit off. Backup quarterback Luke Doty came in to finish the drive and the half.
Sellers went to the locker room before the game even went to halftime without his helmet, which is not a good sign for the star South Carolina quarterback. It is unclear whether it is a head injury or something else, as nothing has yet been reported.

South Carolina is hit twice with Nyck Harbor injury as well
Not only is South Carolina missing its star quarterback, Sellers, but also its top wide receiver, Nyck Harbor, who went down with an injury on the play after Sellers went down. Again, it is unknown what the injury is for Harbor as well, but the announcers could see him go into the medical tent on the sideline.
Head coach Shane Beamer was livid on the sideline after the targeting hit on his quarterback and could be seen screaming at the officials. Beamer gave his opinion on the play when being interviewed at halftime, feeling it took the officials way too long to call the targeting penalty on the play. Beamer did not have an update on Sellers heading into halftime.
South Carolina is currently losing to Vanderbilt at home 14-7 as the game officially goes to halftime.
Check back for injury updates on both Sellers and Harbor for the rest of the game.
