The 2026 NFL draft entered day three on Saturday, through the first three rounds. The South Carolina Gamecocks only saw one player selected, in cornerback Brandon Cisse going number 52 overall to the Green Bay Packers.
Heading into Saturday's day three, there are still a number of South Carolina players left on the board. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest former Gamecock names still to be undrafted.
S Jalon Kilgore
Although several mock drafts had Jalon Kilgore going in the second or third round, he was not picked on Friday night. Entering Saturday's rounds, ESPN ranked Kilgore as the No. 6 overall remaining player left on the board, and top-ranked safety.Â
He shouldn't have to wait too long to hear his name called on Saturday. Â
DT Nick BarrettÂ
Barrett heads into Saturday as the No. 8 ranked defensive tackle, and No. 88 overall remaining player on the board. He is projected to be a fifth-rounder, so he could be selected relatively early on Saturday.Â

RB Rahsul Faison
Running back Rahsul Faison enters day three as the No. 15 ranked running back overall, behind big names like Penn State's Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen, Indiana's Roman Hemby and Alabama's Jam Miller. Depending on if there is a run of running backs during day three, we could hear Faison's name called.Â
S D.Q. Smith
Although D.Q. Smith was not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine like his teammates Kilgore and Cisse, he is hoping to get drafted. Over his three seasons at South Carolina, he finished with 141 tackles, three forced fumbles and five interceptions. At his Pro Day in March, he had an impressive 22 reps at 225 pounds.
He was not listed in ESPN's group of best available safeties entering Day 3 of the draft. Â
LB Demon Clowney
Demon Clowney is the cousin of legendary South Carolina EDGE rusher and first-round NFL Draft pick Jadeveon Clowney. He started his career at Ole Miss before transferring to Charlotte and spending one season in Columbia. Although he ended his collegiate career with just 75 total tackles and 6.5 sacks, the name recognition could cause some teams to take a chance on him. Look for him to be a likely UDFA player.Â
