The 2026 WNBA All-Star weekend is finally here. This year, the city of Chicago is hosting the festivities, and there will be plenty of former Gamecocks that South Carolina fans can catch all weekend.Â
Three former South Carolina players were selected to the 2026 team, including the Las Vegas Aces' A'ja Wilson, the Atlanta Dream's Allisha Gray and the Indiana Fever's Aliyah Boston. Here's everything you need to know for the 2026 All-Star Game, as well as how to watch and more.Â
How to watch the 2026 WNBA All-Star GameÂ

Saturday night's game marks the first time the city of Chicago is hosting the game since 2022. 2026's game will be the first time the United Center will hold the game, as it was previously held at Wintrust Arena. Last year's game was held in Indianapolis.
The teams were selected by All-Star general managers Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon earlier this month, as the two teams are appropriately named "Team Spoon" and "Team Coop."Â
Three former Gamecocks will team up on Team Spoon, as Wilson, Gray and Boston were all selected to the same team. Wilson will have plenty of familiarity with their opposing head coach, as Team Coop will be led by current Aces head coach Becky Hammond. Â
All three former South Carolina Gamecocks are well-deserved additions to the All-Star roster. Wilson is the reigning WNBA MVP from last season, and is averaging 25.6 points per game with 9.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists. The Aces are 18-7, and are currently in second place in the Western Conference. 2026 marks her eighth All-Star appearance. Â
Indiana Fever guard Aliyah Boston is having the best season of her WNBA career in her fourth season. She is averaging 17.1 points per game, adding another 8.6 boards with 2.7 assists. Along with Caitlin Clark, who will be her All-Star teammate and Kelsey Mitchell, the Fever are 16-10 and sitting atop the Eastern Conference. With her 2026 selection, she has made four career All-Star rosters in all four of her seasons in the league.Â
Longtime WNBA veteran Allisha Gray is also having the best season of her career with the Atlanta Dream this season. So far, she is averaging 19.1 points per game with 3.2 assists per game and another 2.3 rebounds. The Dream are also 16-10, tied atop the East with the Fever. 2026 is her fourth All-Star.Â
It should be a fun night on Saturday, with plenty of former Gamecocks representing. And who knows, maybe head coach Dawn Staley will make an appearance courtside.
