The last time we saw the South Carolina men's basketball team in action, the Gamecocks righted the ship after a season-opening home loss to North Florida. Taking down South Carolina State 86-64 in game two of the season, Lamont Paris' team took a nice step forward.

Jacobi Wright led the way with 20 points and Collin Murray-Boyles was close behind with 19 points to go along with 16 rebounds. But it was the Gamecocks' defense that led the way.

Holding the Bulldogs to 35.8% shooting from the floor and 3-16 from 3-point range, USC was dominant on that end of the floor. However, there are still obvious areas for improvement.

First of all, the Gamecocks must be better on the glass. Against South Carolina State, USC surrendered 16 offensive rebounds.

Second, Paris would love to see his team shoot the ball better, especially from downtown. Last time out, USC shot only 8-27 from deep (29.6%). Of course, that came on the heels of shooting just 5-16 (31.3%) from beyond the arc in the season opener.

Tonight's opponent, Towson, should provide an opportunity to work out more of the kinks. The Tigers are 1-1 on the season with a 76-69 loss to Saint Marys and an 89-34 drubbing of some school named Wilkes-Barre.

So let's look at everything fans need to know ahead of tonight's game. We'll start with how to watch the broadcast.
