The South Carolina Gamecocks are winding down their spring football season. Shane Beamer's spring season will conclude with the Gamecocks' Fan Fest scheduled for Saturday, April 11.

Of course, the end of spring ball marks the start of the offseason before fall camp begins. But there is one big calendar event for SEC football fans in the coming months, in SEC Media Days in July.

This year's event will be held in Tampa, Fla. On Wednesday, the SEC revealed the official schedule for all 16 teams throughout the four-day event, including South Carolina's:

Tuesday, July 21:

  • Auburn head coach Alex Golesh
  • Georgia head coach Kirby Smart
  • South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer
  • Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea

In the SEC's official release, the conference noted that the list of names is in alphabetical order and does not reflect the order the coaches will appear. The event will begin on Monday, July 20 and conclude on July 23.

On SEC Media's second day, Beamer will coincidentally be joined by just one head coach he will face in 2026 in Georgia's Kirby Smart.

Also expected to attend will be a number of Gamecock players. Although a list of formal attendees is expected to be announced closer to the four-day media event in July, don't be surprised if quarterback LaNorris Sellers is on the list. Heading into 2026 with a new offensive coordinator in Kendal Briles, there is plenty of buzz surrounding the junior signal-caller.

Previously, SEC Media Days was hosted in Birmingham, Ala. from 2001-2021 before rotating between several different cities such as Atlanta, Nashville and Dallas. 2026 marks the very first time that Florida will play host to the event.
