South Carolina men's basketball has officially locked down two early-season matchups for the 2025-26 campaign as part of the Mountain Division of the prestigious Greenbrier Tip-Off. Lamont Paris and the Gamecocks will face Butler on Friday, November 21 and Northwestern on Sunday, November 23. Both of these games will be played at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The games will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, although times have yet to be announced. These games mark the first-ever meetings between South Carolina and both Butler and Northwestern, adding some new competition to their non-conference schedule.

This event is put on by Intersport, which is a Chicago-based sports marketing agency known for producing high-level collegiate events across multiple sports. Intersport also manages multiple showcases across the country in various sports including basketball, football, golf, pickleball, and volleyball.

For fans that are looking to experience the matchup in person, the only way to guarantee tickets for the Greenbrier Tip-Off is by purchasing official event travel packages. These particular packages include tickets to both of the team's games and hotel accommodations on-site at The Greenbrier.

The hotel is known as "America's Resort," and boasts itself as a luxury mountain getaway nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. It is an 11,000-acre estate featuring championship golf, a private casion, spa, and hundreds of rooms and historic cottages. It is a unique setting for what promises to be a compelling early-season Gamecock men's basketball event.
