Gamecock Nation is dancing on Clemson’s Field of Loss after LSU win

The only thing that makes South Carolina fans happier than a win is a Clemson loss on their own field.

South Carolina is getting ready to kick off the season against Virginia Tech in the Aflac Kickoff Game, but the party got started early when No. 4 Clemson fell to No. 9 LSU in Death Valley Jr.

The loss marked the second consecutive home defeat for the Tigers, the first time that's happened since 2008. As LSU fans stormed the field and turned Memorial Stadium into their own party, South Carolina fans joined in the revelry to rub a little SEC dirt in the faces of their bitter rival.

Most South Carolina fans couldn't think of a better way to start the weekend than with being able to use the hated Tigers as a punching bag. While the sting of last year's controversial loss to LSU was still evident, there was no way Gamecock Nation was going to pull for Clemson to win.

It was glorious, and the interwebs were filled with Gamecock schadenfreude, much of it directed at Clemson quarterback, Cade Klubnik.

It's safe to say that Clemson's loss has added to the anticipation for South Carolina's season opener, as fans are ready to go in Atlanta already.
