South Carolina's secondary has given up three big plays in the air to Clemson, and fans are over it already.

South Carolina has relied on their defense a lot this season, especially when the offense wasn't able to get it done. However, right now, their defense is letting them down at the wrong time in the season. The Gamecocks defensive line has done the best they can to get to Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik, but the secondary is letting the rest of them down.

There have been three big chunk plays for the Tigers in which the defensive back was unable to make a play on the ball and the Clemson wide receiver made what looked like an outstanding catch. The secondary can not give up big plays like that or else South Carolina will get down fast.

South Carolina fans are sick and tired of seeing the defensive backs continually get beat with a big play, and they are letting the Gamecocks know it on social media.

One of the big chunk plays was also on a free play due to offsides; it turned a five-yard gain into a 28-yard gain. The other two were just bad plays on the ball, with the defensive backs not turning their heads to find the ball. The Gamecocks need to clean it up soon, or they will continue to get eaten alive.

It is very possible, they may be looking for anyone to suit up by halftime with the way it is going right now.

It seems like the defensive backs are scared of committing a penalty, but if they would just turn their head it would make a world of difference and still be a clean play on the ball.

The run game other than LaNorris Sellers scrambling out of the pocket may not be in the cards for South Carolina today. Trust Sellers' arm talent and let him air it out. The defense has to get things cleaned up, or they will be playing catch-up all day long.

This defense has been elite all season long, and this is not the time to start looking like this, especially with a potential College Football Playoff spot on the line.

It seems they forgot to set their alarms this morning.

Why don't we all put a uniform on and give it a try, anything has to be better right?
