The South Carolina Gamecocks are taking over the SEC Network this week. On Tuesday, July 14, the network will be airing nothing but great Gamecock games from this past athletic season.
It's all part of SEC Network's 12th annual school takeovers, during which all 16 teams are given one day to air some of the best moments from that specific school's athletic programs throughout the day. South Carolina's is scheduled for Tuesday.
All day long, SEC Network will air some of the greatest South Carolina moments from this past year. Here's a look at what will be featured:

As you can see, several smaller Gamecock sports will be represented throughout on Tuesday. Obviously South Carolina did not have the best major sports athletic year, as the football program finished 4-8, the men's basketball team finished 13-19, and the baseball team finished with a program-low 35 losses. The network will show last year's season-opening win by head coach Shane Beamer and the Virginia Tech Hokies, a 24-11 victory.
But there were other bright spots for the Gamecocks this year, like Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks' trip to the Final Four and national championship game, as well as the team's victories over TCU in the NCAA tournament and against Ole Miss during the regular season, as the network is featuring. SECN will also air the Gamecocks' equestrian national championship won this past May, which gave South Carolina its fourth title in the sport.
The network will also highlight three of South Carolina softball's victories, including a win over Texas A&M in April that resulted in a 2-1 series victory, as well as the Gamecocks' win over rival Clemson on April 14.
It should be a fun day for any Gamecock fans who tune in! Those without access to SEC Network can catch the action on WatchESPN as well.
