There is another Gamecock back in the WBNA! Former South Carolina women's basketball standout Bree Hall has officially signed with the Golden State Valkyries, the WNBA's newest franchise. The team announced the pickup for the active roster on Wednesday, posting that Hall had been added. She will also be available for Thursday night's matchup against her former team, the Indiana Fever. With Hall's addition, the number of former Gamecocks in the WNBA climbs to 11, a testament to what head coach Dawn Staley has built in Columbia, SC. The Valkyries and Fever will tip off at 10 p.m. ET at Golden State.

Hall was originally selected by the Indiana Fever 20th overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft. However, she was later waived by the team during training camp. Now, she is getting another shot and a fresh start, this time on the West Coast. Hall is also reuniting with fellow former Gamecock Laeticia Amihere in Golden State.
