South Carolina's footprint on women's basketball keeps expanding, and this winter it is stretching into one of the sport's most ambitious new adventures. The second season of Unrivaled, a professional women’s basketball league built to showcase elite talent during the WNBA offseason, tips off Monday. And several former South Carolina Gamecocks stars are once again part of the conversation. Unrivaled features WNBA and international players competing in a fast-paced three-on-three format, with modified rules designed to emphasize skill, spacing, and creativity. The league runs through the month of March, with most games played in Miami, offering players a high-profile platform without overlapping the WNBA calendar.

Which former Gamecocks are playing?

South Carolina fans will see familiar names throughout the season:

Aliyah Boston, Phantom
The former No. 1 overall pick and cornerstone of Dawn Staley’s championship teams continues to represent Columbia on the pro stage. Boston’s presence gives Unrivaled immediate credibility and star power on the court.

Allisha Gray, Mist
One of the most versatile former Gamecocks to come through the program, Gray brings toughness, scoring prowess, and the experience that fits perfectly in the league’s condensed format.

Laeticia Amihere, Developmental Pool
Amihere is part of Unrivaled’s development pool, which means she can be activated if another player becomes unavailable. This setup that keeps emerging talent connected to top-level competition.

The representation from South Carolina is unmistakable. Once again, Gamecock alumni are woven into the fabric of the modern game of women's basketball and continue to shape how the game evolves. South Carolina women's basketball has become a pipeline to the pros, not only in the WNBA but also to innovative platforms like Unrivaled. And the Lady Gamecocks continue to reshape how and when women play the game at the highest level.

How can fans watch?

The Unrivaled games will air across TNT, truTV, and HBO Max, giving the league national visibility and easy access for fans tracking former Gamecocks throughout their pro careers.
