South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley is busy this offseason, heavily rebuilding for her upcoming 2026-27 season. Coming off a trip to the national championship game, there is not a ton of downtime for the Gamecocks head coach.

But she did have time to support some of her former players over the weekend. On Saturday, the Atlanta Dream took on the Indiana Fever at home, in a game where six former South Carolina Gamecocks suited up. Coach Staley was in the house to watch her former players, including the Fever's Aliyah Boston and rookie Raven Johnson, as well as veteran Tyasha Harris and second-year player Bree Hall.

The Atlanta Dream has three former South Carolina players, including Allisha Gray, Te-Hina Paopao and rookie Madina Okot. Staley linking up with her former player afterwards was awesome to see:

She also got a standing ovation when she was shown on the jumbotron:

As for the game itself, the Atlanta Dream got the home victory over the Fever, winning 113-96. The Dream's Rhyne Howard led Atlanta's offense with 24 points and four rebounds, with Gray adding another 22 points and five rebounds in the win. Paopao came off the bench and scored nine points in the victory.

Indiana star Caitlin Clark scored 26 points, but it wasn't enough against the Dream's defense. Kelsey Mitchell added 16 points, with Boston fishing with 13 points, and leading the team with nine rebounds on the day.

Staley wasn't the only star in the house, as the game was played at State Farm Arena in downtown Atlanta, as opposed to where the Dream usually play at teh much smaller Gateway Center in College Park. Attendees at the game also included the Atlanta Hawks' Jalen Johnson and C.J. McCollum and Falcons cornerback Avieon Terrell.

Kudos to Staley for showing some of her former players some love!
