South Carolina guard Bree Hall has been chosen by the Indiana Fever and the overall 20th pick in the WNBA Draft.
Hall's tenure with the Gamecocks was marked by consistent growth and clutch perfomances. She is known for her defensive prowess and three-point shooting. Notably, she hit game-winning shots in critical matchups against Stanford, Maryland, and LSU.
During her junior year at South Carolina, Hall averaged 9.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game and contributed significantly to the Gamecocks' 2023-24 undefeated season. Her consistent three-point shooting and overall 38% accuracy in her final two years at South Carolina make her a valuable asset for the Fever.
Hall will reunite with former South Carolina Aliyah Boston, with whom she won the 2022 National Championship. This selection also makes Hall the 21st Gamecock drafted into the WNBA and the 17th under the leadership of head coach Dawn Staley.
