The Gamecocks proved last week why in the month of November they have so much success. Even against a team that was slated to beat them, South Carolina was able to come together after the bye week and play one of their best games of the season at just the right time. Head coach Shane Beamer has now an 11-4 record in the month of November at South Carolina showing that his teams knows how to finish a season strong.

While the Gamecocks will be facing No. 24 Vanderbilt, this is not the same Vanderbilt team that they have cultivated a 15-game win streak against. Behind the great play of quarterback Diego Pavia and a new sense of confidence, Vandy is putting together quite a season.

The defense led by true freshman Dylan Stewart and Kyle Kennard is looking like one of the top defenses with each new week. The pass rush is the strongest attack on the defense which forces opposing quarterbacks to rush and make errant throws and that is where the secondary shines.
