Both South Carolina and Alabama are coming off games they would love to forget. The Gamecocks had a prime opportunity to upset a ranked Ole Miss team with the home crowd on their side, but instead scored just three points and looked like a very undisciplined team.

However, Alabama is coming off a loss that had everyone and still has everyone talking. The Crimson Tide lost to Vanderbilt for the first time in over 40 years and gave Vandy their first win over a top 5 team, while before, they were 0-60 against the top 5 teams. The Crimson Tide was never able to take the lead against the Commodores, and it just looks like they had a hangover from their big win over Georgia the week before.

This is a big game for both teams as they both need a "get right" game midway through the season. the Crimson Tide are trying to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive while the Gamecocks are looking to play spoiler against Alabama.
