Meet The Team
Andrew Wright
Andrew is a contributor for FanSided sites Cubbies Crib, and Garnet and Cocky. He will give his opinion on everything Cubs baseball as well as provide updates on important games and players throughout the year. Andrew has experience with entities such as Yardbarker and North Side Baseball. In his free time, Andrew loves to research the game of baseball as well as the occasional golf outing on the side.
Braulio Perez
Braulio Perez is an NCAA Content Director for FanSided, joining Minute Media in 2017 after 2.5 years at the Newark Star-Ledger as a high school sports reporter and 2.5 years at the Lynden Tribune as sports editor. While with the Lynden Tribune, Perez was named the Sports Writer of the Year in 2012 for his division by the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association. At the Star-Ledger, he also assisted in coverage of college football recruiting. Perez's focus has been on college football recruiting, high school sports, the NFL, NCAA and English Premier League. He is also a regular contributor for 247Sports' Cougfan.com.
Brianna Airey
Bri is a contributor for FanSided’s Garnet and Cocky, covering University of South Carolina athletics with a focus on football and basketball—though she’s always tuned in to every Gamecock sport. She began her sports writing journey in 2024 with The Chanticleer News at Coastal Carolina University, where she served as a Sports Reporter, later rising to become Sports Column Editor. She has served as the on-field host for the Florence Flamingos, Coastal Plain League (CPL) team.
Corey Long

Ericka Brockish
Ericka is a national college sports writer for FanSided, and has been covering football, basketball, and other sports for six years. She is a University of Central Florida graduate with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Sports Business Management.

Sam Fariss
Sam Fariss is a staff writer for our NCAA team. She attended the University of Oregon (Go Ducks) where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Sam has covered college football and other collegiate sports for six years now. Her favorite teams are the Ducks (of course) and the Texas Longhorns because she was raised in Austin.
