Four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth has been recruited heavily since decommitting from South Carolina last summer. After a dominant junior season, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound state champion is getting ready to increase his worth for his senior year before making his final decision on where to play college ball.

His junior year was stellar, where Duckworth amassed 3,109 passing yards, 34 touchdowns, and nine touchdowns for 631 yards rushing and 12 scores in 14 games. For his entire high school career, Duckworth has racked up over 6,400 yards and 80 touchdowns in 30 games.

Duckworth has set the schedule for his official visits to his top four schools. He confirmed that he will visit Georgia on May 30, South Carolina on June 6, Florida State, on June 13, and Ole Miss on June 20.

“There are some other schools I’m considering, but Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida State are my main focus right now,” Duckworth told On3’s Chad Simmons last month. “All of them are recruiting me hard, and they want me on campus this spring, so I’m planning to take official visits to all four.”

South Carolina has retained a good relationship with Duckworth in hopes to entice him back to the program, but other powerhouse programs are pushing for the same as well.

“If I’m ready to commit before the season, I will,” Duckworth said. “But if not, I’ll wait. What’s most important to me is the atmosphere of the school, how the coaches treat me, the offensive system, and the background of the staff in developing quarterbacks.”

As the summer inches closer, so will this highly sought after recruit's decision where to commit.
