Week 6 gave college football fans an incredible slate of games, and everyone was wondering how it could get better, and Week 7 delivered! Even though there weren't as many upsets in Week 7 as there were in Week 6, the games played were close and exciting, starting with the noon games all the way to the Big 12 after-dark games.

For the third week in a row, these rankings will see a new No. 1 ranked team. The Ohio State Buckeyes were unable to keep Oregon at bay and the Dan Lanning-led Ducks were able to pull off the upset and take down the mighty Buckeyes. The SEC saw another exciting slate of games with Vanderbilt pulling off another amazing win and showing the SEC they are no longer the little brother.

After yet another exciting week of games, here is my latest College Football Playoff prediction.

The Texas Longhorns finally make their way to the No. 1 spot in these prediction rankings, however, that spot seems like a bad luck charm as the last two teams to take it since Georgia lost have followed suit and lost as well. The Longhorns, however, handled the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Rivalry and are now the team to beat in college football.

The Oregon Ducks also moved into the automatic bid spot for the Big Ten with the win over Oregon as they are now the top of three undefeated teams in the conference. Kanas State stays put as the Big 12 Champion even with BYU and Iowa State being undefeated, but a quality win at Colorado this week gives them a great chance at winning the conference.

Both LSU and Iowa State make their way into the rankings again this week. The Cyclones are undefeated with a solid win over West Virginia, but they still have a tough road ahead of them. Brian Kelly improved to 13-0 in night games in Death Valley with the big win over Ole Miss as the Tigers also remain undefeated on the season.

With the way these rankings continue to change week after week, the College Football Playoff selection committee will have their work cut out for them come the end of the season.
