South Carolina football fans are going to have to get used to a new-look Gamecock team when the season starts in 2024.

USC, like most other programs, has a fair amount of graduating seniors who will no longer be part of the program moving forward. In the modern age of the transfer portal, there also are bound to be some younger players to leave the program, and for some Gamecocks, the NFL may come calling.

Some notable seniors who are without further eligibility include Xavier Legette, DK Joyner, Jordan Strachan, Marcellas Dial, Nick Gargiulo, Tyreek Johnson, Ahmarean Brown, and Trey Knox. However, this article won’t be about those players as they do not have the option to return to school.

Instead, this article will focus on 5 players and 3 groups of players who could leave school early, whether through the transfer portal or in pursuit of the NFL.
