South Carolina Football vs. Florida:
The Injury Report

  • Star wide receiver Juice Wells was out again. So were starting right tackle Cason Henry and backup offensive tackle Jaxon Hughes. The rest of the injury report remained the same (long-term injuries were still out, but all minor injuries were reportedly available).
  • Xavier Legette, Mario Anderson, and Vershon Lee all got banged up in the 1st half. Legette and Anderson returned to the game, but Anderson seemed limited. Lee did not come back and was replaced by Sidney Fugar. Jakai Moore was supposedly available, but Fugar’s insertion for Lee suggests that Moore might not have been as healthy as reported.
  • Stone Blanton got banged up twice in the 3rd quarter. He did not return after leaving the game the second time. The Gamecocks played Pup Howard and Bam Martin-Scott more, and they also played with an extra defensive back at times.
  • O’Donnell Fortune also picked up an injury in the 3rd period. He would return.
  • Nick Emmanwori and David Spaulding both came up gimpy in the 4th. They both returned, as well.
