Perhaps mercifully, the South Carolina football team will not play this Saturday as the Gamecocks take a break from SEC play and are on their Bye Week. USC will look to use the time off to reset, get a little healthier, and re-evalute how to turn the season around and reach bowl eligibility for the third straight year under head coach Shane Beamer.

Most South Carolina football fans will be focused on next weekend when the Florida Gators travel to Williams-Brice Stadium for a sold-out SEC showdown. That game will be played at 3:30 and be broadcast on the SECNetwork and the ESPN App.

But that’s next week. For this weekend, there are a number of SEC teams in action, and Gamecock Nation might be interested in watching those games, as well, as several of them still remain on the South Carolina football schedule.
