SEC football fans have witnessed a wild season so far in 2023. The league does not have the sheer number of great teams as is usual (other than Georgia, is any team in the conference elite?), but outside of the lowly Vanderbilt Commodores, no team in the league looks incapable of competing week in and week out.

Outside of the clear bookends of Georgia and Vanderbilt, the league is unpredictable each Saturday. Realistically, it appears that any team from 2-13 in the conference could knock off any other team in the bloated middle class of SEC football.

Part of the reason for this parity is that quarterback play has been all over the place this season during the SEC football calendar.

Players like South Carolina’s Spencer Rattler, LSU’s Jayden Daniels, and Missouri’s Brady Cook have held claim to the title of best quarterback performer of the week, and others like Tennessee’s Joe Milton, Mississippi State’s Will Rogers, and Kentucky’s Devin Leary have disappointed at times.

But what is the true ranking of these SEC’s signal-callers?

***This power ranking will only include active quarterbacks. For example, Texas A&M quarterback Conner Weigman will not be included as he is expected to miss the rest of the season with an injury. Instead, Max Johnson will represent the Aggies in the rankings.
