South Carolina Football vs. Mississippi State:
The Injury Report

  • Of the three questionable players this week, Ahmarean Brown was the only one who did not play. Tyreek Johnson played a fair amount at defensive end, and JT Geer saw a few snaps, as well. In Brown’s absence, Eddie Lewis and Luke Doty got most of the slot snaps, and USC ran more two tight end sets, as well.
  • Xavier Legette looked a little banged up after his long touchdown, but he returned to the game and appeared fine.
  • Trey Knox was shaken up after a catch in the 1st half but returned to the game.
  • David Spaulding, after his 2nd quarter interception, went to the locker room with an undisclosed injury. He also returned to action.
  • O’Donnell Fortune battled a minor knee issue at times during the night.
  • After taking a hit in the second half, Rattler was limping around but never left the game.
