South Carolina Football great Alshon Jeffery’s most ridiculous statistics:
Career Totals in Just Three Seasons

For those who may not remember, Alshon Jeffery only played three seasons for the Gamecocks. Because of his dominant play on the field, Jeffery had a great chance of being selected early in the 2012 NFL Draft, so he forewent his final year of college eligibility to go pro.

Jeffery’s career totals stand out on their own, but they are even more ridiculous when one considers the fact that he only played three seasons of college football.

In South Carolina program history, Jeffery ranks 3rd in career receptions, 2nd in career receiving yards (just three yards behind 4-year player Bryan Edwards), and is tied for 1st in receiving touchdowns. He also ranks in the top-10 in yards per catch in school history among players with at least 50 catches in their careers wearing garnet and black.

Alshon Jeffery is the only Gamecock to post three seasons that rank in the top-30 all-time in program history in all three receiving categories (receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns.

He caught almost every pass of his career from two all-time great Gamecock quarterbacks in Stephen Garcia and Connor Shaw but also caught the only touchdown of Reid McCollum’s career and caught two of (wide receiver) Bruce Ellington’s four career completions.
