South Carolina Football: Ranking the most otherworldly Gamecock athletes

South Carolina Football’s No. 4 Most Otherworldly Player of All-Time:
Wide Receiver Alshon Jeffery
Alshon Jeffery was special. As physically gifted as he was, the most alien-like trait #1 possessed was the stickiness of his hands. On numerous occasions, Jeffery demonstrated that he needed just a few fingers to touch the football in order to secure the catch.
Incredible one-handed grabs against Kentucky, Arkansas, and The Citadel are good examples of this, but perhaps Jeffery’s most-famous grab came when he snagged the ball out of the air with one paw with future 1st-round corner Dre Kirkpatrick hanging all over him.
A fellow alien candidate Lane Kiffin (for different reasons) once told Alshon Jeffery that he would never amount to anything if he committed to the University of South Carolina over his Tennessee Volunteers. In fact, Kiffin told the Calhoun County High School product that he would “end up pumping gas” if he chose the Gamecocks.
Jeffery did alright for himself enrolling at USC as he was an All-American in college who won a Super Bowl at the next level and made over $70 Million playing in the NFL. Although, what does an alien really need with all of that money?
