South Carolina Athletics: SECNetwork’s Gamecock Takeover is tomorrow! Here is the schedule and how to watch
By Kevin Miller
South Carolina athletics fans have a few days circled on their calendars every year: the South Carolina-Clemson football game, the opening day of the baseball season, and the start of March Madness for the basketball squads (especially for Dawn Staley’s group) are always fan favorites. In recent years, though, a new day has popped up on the calendar.
The SECNetwork fills the dearth of active games and news in July by filling the first half of the month with school “takeovers.” These takeovers are essentially all-day programming and/or past games that fans of each school would want to tune in to see. The Gamecock Takeover is must-see television for fans of any South Carolina Athletics.
The Gamecock Takeover is set for tomorrow, Tuesday, July 11th, and Gamecock fans everywhere will be flipping over to the SECNetwork or DVR-ing the South Carolina Athletics content that they might miss.
Over the weekend, the SECNetwork announced the schedule for the Gamecock Takeover. The full schedule is listed below:
12:00 AM (Midnight): Gamecock Men’s Basketball victory over Kentucky from 2022-2023

With the heavy dose of orange sadness on the docket for tomorrow’s Gamecock Takeover, it would be a real shame*** if you were to share it with any nearby Clemson and/or Tennessee fans.
*** “a real shame” = “a hilariously funny thing that you should definitely consider doing”
