South Carolina Athletics fans love to watch the Gamecocks play. That’s a prerequisite for being a fan. However, in July, there are no games on any of the sports’ schedules, so watching South Carolina sports play is more difficult. Thankfully, though, it is not impossible.

While one could scour the internet for clips on YouTube or social media posts, there is a better way to watch the Gamecocks play out of season.

The SECNetwork broadcasts its “SECNetwork Takeovers” the first two weeks of July to make it easier for fans to watch their favorite teams play, even out of season. These takeovers are primarily old games (in multiple sports) and special team-specific broadcasts.

The South Carolina Athletics Department will be featured all day for the Gamecocks SECNetwork Takeover on July 11th.

In years past, popular replays for South Carolina have included any and all wins over Clemson, the South Carolina baseball National Championship clinching victories, NCAA Tournament games on the men’s basketball team’s run to the Final Four or women’s team’s two National Championships, and major South Carolina football upsets (like 2010 over Alabama or 2019 over Georgia).

This year, with the way that South Carolina football finished last season, either the Gamecocks’ dominant victory over Tennessee or streak-ending win over Clemson (or even both) could be included on Gamecock Takeover Day.

The full schedule of replays for the Takeover will be released closer to broadcast time.

The entire schedule for the SECNetwork Takeovers is listed below:

July 1st: Alabama Crimson Tide
July 2nd: Arkansas Razorbacks
July 3rd: Auburn Tigers
July 4th: Florida Gators
July 5th: Georgia Bulldogs
