South Carolina Football: National site puts Gamecocks on top-100 players list

On Friday, On3.com released a list of their top-100 players in college football. Multiple South Carolina football players made the list, but they were not necessarily the ones one might expect.

Two Gamecocks made On3’s list. All-SEC receiver Juice Wells was no surprise (though he could have been higher). However, most fans would have assumed Spencer Rattler, Trey Knox, or Nick Emmanwori would be the second pick. Instead, cornerback Marcellas Dial was the selection. Gamecock fans hope that Dial can step up to a top-100 level as he looks to take over for two corners taken in the 2023 NFL Draft in Cam Smith and Darius Rush.
