South Carolina Football’s Most Impressive 2023 Spring Performers:
Quarterback LaNorris Sellers

As evidenced by his #1-overall selection in the Garnet and Black Spring Game draft, LaNorris Sellers is a stud. The true freshman early enrollee has been impressive since he first arrived in Columbia this winter. Standing at 6’3″ and 230 pounds, Sellers possesses a Howitzer for an arm (tight end Trey Knox said he “flicks his wrist” and throws the ball 60 yards) and is a superb athlete (has run in the 4.4s and 4.5s in the 40-yard dash).

Spencer Rattler is the starter at quarterback this season, but Sellers appears to be the signal caller of the future. Some fans even speculate the Sellers could see the field this season. With Dakereon Joyner moving to running back, the wildcat quarterback role could be open (nothing has been revealed about this yet). If it is open, Sellers could be the man for the job.
