South Carolina Football’s No. 6 NFL Draft Success:
CB Johnathan Joseph

After just two years in Columbia in 2004 and 2005 (and just one season on the field), Johnathan Joseph (Round 1, Pick 24, 2006 NFL Draft; Cincinnati Bengals) spent fifteen seasons in the NFL. An All-Pro and Pro Bowl career saw its best years with the Houston Texans. Since the year 2000, no player has knocked away more passes in the NFL than Johnathan Joseph. Probably just a notch below Hall of Fame level, Joseph was one of the best corners in football for around a decade, way more than anyone could expect, even from a first-round pick.
