, expectations in Columbia have been growing and growing. The two developed a great relationship both on and off the field, and the dynamic duo has big plans of SEC domination in new

For Wells, a return to Carolina provides an opportunity to build off of a second-team All-SEC performance in 2022. The James Madison transfer was one of the top receivers in the conference despite having an inconsistent role at times under previous Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterfield. Even though he had four different games with three or fewer catches, Wells ranked in the top-5 in the SEC in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns last season. With another year playing alongside Rattler, those numbers can improve.
The rest of the country is noticing how good Juice is. A few weeks ago, he and Rattler were invited on the Barstool Sports “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast, last week, Wells was named the SEC’s top returning receiver by College Football Network’s Cam Mellor, and on Tuesday, Juice was selected as one of the “top seniors” in college football by Bleacher Report’s David Kenyon. In fact, Kenyon picked Wells as the top senior receiver in the nation.
Week 1 of the college football season is still over four months away, but the hype keeps building within Gamecock Nation. Pairing all of the Wells hype with the reports of Spencer Rattler’s dominance in spring practice and South Carolina fans are going to have a hard time being patient for the September 2nd kickoff against North Carolina in Charlotte.
