South Carolina Football’s No. 9 Defensive Tackle of All-Time:
Taylor Stallworth

An unselfish player, Taylor Stallworth (2014-2017) spent his career making his teammates better. He was adept at plugging gaps in the run game, a trait that allowed the other players on the defense to make plays. Linebackers Skai Moore, Bryson Allen-Williams, and TJ Brunson owe many of their stops to big #90. Stallworth played a pivotal role on some opportunistic Gamecock defenses, and he has translated his college game into an active five-year NFL career.

While never one to light up the box score while at Carolina, Stallworth was athletic enough to make plays if given the opportunity. In a close game against Louisiana Tech, he busted out a rare swim move, and blew up a first-down run before the running back could take a step with the football.
