South Carolina Basketball: 5 biggest “musts” entering the offseason

South Carolina basketball saw its 2022-2023 season come to an end last night as the Gamecocks fell to the Ole Miss Rebels in the first round of the SEC Tournament in Nashville. Overall, the season was a disappointment, but the Gamecocks looked significantly better at the end of the season, playing just one non-competitive game in their last 12.
Because of the nature of college athletics, one would not be exaggerating to say that the future of Lamont Paris’ tenure as the head coach in Columbia likely hinges upon this offseason. Here are the five biggest “needs” that must be addressed this offseason so that the future is a brighter one.
