South Carolina Football’s No. 14 Wide Receive of All-Time:
Jermale Kelly

A steady performer out wide, Jermale Kelly (1997-2000) has one of the most memorable catches in school history. After starting quarterback Phil Petty was injured, backup Erik Kimrey threw the game-winning pass (known simply as “The Fade”) to Kelly on 4th down.

Kelly had arguably his best season as a freshman but had a solid and consistent career as he is only one of four Gamecocks to notch four seasons of 350+ yards receiving with Bryan Edwards, Shi Smith, and Robert Brooks. Kelly had a brief career in NFL Europe after graduating from South Carolina.
