South Carolina Football’s No. 4 Wide Receiver of All-Time:
Bryan Edwards

Bryan Edwards (2016-2019) looked like he was created in a laboratory to play receiver. At 6’3″ and 215 pounds, Edwards had the size and leaping ability to make plays on the ball in the air. He was fast enough, though, to be the team’s primary punt returner during parts of his career and displayed his speed by taking a screen 75 yards to the house against Missouri as a senior.

His best catch (and one of the best catches ever) came against Tennessee in 2019 and tied him for the school’s record for receptions. The Conway, South Carolina native is the only Gamecock to have four seasons of 500+ yards receiving in his career and is South Carolina football’s all-time leader in catches and receiving yards. He is currently in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons after being a third-round pick in 2020.
