South Carolina Football’s No. 13 Running Back of All-Time:
Stanley Pritchett

A hybrid fullback/running back, Stanley Pritchett (1992-1995) did not see any time in the backfield during his freshman campaign but became a very important all-around contributor to the offense for Head Coaches Sparky Woods and Brad Scott.

Pritchett was an excellent blocker (he even became a full-time fullback in the NFL), a good runner, and possessed great hands out of the backfield. He finished his career with over 1000 yards rushing and receiving, one of only two Gamecock backs to ever accomplish this feat. Pritchett was drafted in the 1996 NFL Draft where he played for nine seasons.
