KeyShawn Bryant is one of the highest flyers to ever put on a South Carolina basketball uniform. A SportsCenter Top Play waiting to happen, Bryant spent four years in Columbia before transferring back home to the University of South Florida for his final year of eligibility after Head Coach Frank Martin was fired after the 2021-2022 season. Bryant averaged 10 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, and just under a block and a steal per contest during his Gamecock career.

On Wednesday, while South Carolina basketball was battling in overtime against the number-2 Alabama Crimson Tide, Bryant’s South Florida Bulls team was playing against their rivals, the University of Central Florida Knights. As he was prone to do when he was a Gamecock, Bryant did unspeakable things to the rims on Wednesday night. South Florida was playing on the road in Orlando as Bryant absolutely unloaded with four monster jams against the Knights. The commentators for the game were so impressed with Bryant’s dunks, they thought he would be deserving of having the top-4 plays on tomorrow’s top-10. Even the home fans were cheering for Bryant’s impressive display.

South Florida went on to beat their rival Central Florida on the road by a score of 82-75 on Wednesday night. The Bulls, like the South Carolina basketball team, have struggled during the 2022-2023 season. South Florida is 12-16 on the season and is positioned toward the bottom of the American Athletic Conference standings.

For any Gamecock fans who may have an interest in trying to catch another KeyShawn Bryant highlight reel dunk, the South Florida basketball team will be in action again on Saturday at 7:00 PM EST when they take on the SMU Mustangs back on campus in Tampa, Florida at the Yuengling Center. The conference matchup will be aired exclusively on ESPN+ and the ESPN App.
