South Carolina Football’s Top Super Bowl Performances, #5

Alshon Jeffery, Philadelphia Eagles WR: In Super Bowl LII, Alshon Jeffery was part of one of the best passing offensive performances in Super Bowl history. Jeffery had an excellent first half in which he accumulated all of his stats. One of the best Carolina receivers ever, Jeffery caught three balls, all in critical moments. His seventy-three yards led the team until the end of the fourth quarter, and he caught his team’s first of four receiving touchdowns. Former Gamecock teammate Stephon Gilmore had to be switched onto Jeffery to stop the bleeding, opening things up for the other Eagles’ receivers.
