For the past 73 years, the Reese’s Senior Bowl has taken place in Mobile, Alabama for some of college football’s top seniors (and a handful of early-graduating juniors). With practices and a game in front of NFL scouts, many prospects have seen their draft stock rise as a result of their performances at the Senior Bowl activities. The 2023 Senior Bowl will take place at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama on Saturday, February 4th at 2:30 EST and will be viewable on the NFL Network and NFL.com.

Diehard fans interested in watching their favorite players compete at practice can stream them on NFL+ on Tuesday the 31st and ESPN2 and the ESPN App on Wednesday the 1st and Thursday the 2nd. Each day, the National Team will practice from 12:30-2:30 EST and the American Team will practice from 3:00-5:00.

South Carolina football fans can watch two senior Gamecocks participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Defensive tackle Zacch Pickens and cornerback Darius Rush will both be on the American Team. Former Gamecock defensive back Jammie Robinson—a transfer to Florida State—will also play on the American Team. A full list of 2023 Senior Bowl participants can be found here.

Including this year’s participants, the Gamecocks have sent 50 players to take part in Senior Bowl festivities. In recent offseasons, WR Deebo Samuel, DT Javon Kinlaw, and DE Kinglsey (JJ) Enagbare all reportedly received large bumps up in their draft stock during their time in front of NFL scouts in Mobile. On offense, several other notable Gamecock Senior Bowl participants of the past include RB Steve Wadiak, WR Sterling Sharpe, RB Brandon Bennett, QB Steve Taneyhill, and WR Kenny McKinley. Fan favorites on the defensive side of the ball such as LB Ernest Dye, LB/DE John Abraham, CB Sheldon Brown, LB/DE Eric Norwood, and DL Melvin Ingram also took part in past Senior Bowls.
