The South Carolina football program picked up a big piece to the puzzle over the offseason, landing the signature of former five-star quarterback Spencer Rattler. Rattler, who entered last season as a Heisman candidate with the Oklahoma Sooners, figures to win the starting role for the Gamecocks next year.
The West Coast native is already making himself a part of the South Carolina community. Originally from Arizona, Rattler recently inked an NIL deal with Columbia based sponsorship platform the Garnet Trust.
Now, he appears to be taking things a step further, releasing a South Carolina football themed apparel line that includes Rattlerβs personal logo alongside various Palmetto State staples. Check out the logo below.

All of Rattlerβs merchandise can be found at his personal shop, as well as at retailers that have partnered through his new NIL deal. Items include hoodies, t-shirts, beanies, shorts, and other accessories.
Rattler is the favorite to win the starting job in Columbia after a productive career at Oklahoma. Last season, the rising junior tossed 11 touchdowns and threw for nearly 1,500 yards to help the Sooners get off to a perfect 5-0 start.
The South Carolina football team certainly needs the help under center. They were the only team in the country last season to win a game with four different starting quarterbacks. With a bit more stability in the backfield, the Gamecocks are hoping to build upon a surprising seven-win season in 2022.
Stay tuned for new merchandise to drop as the season nears.
