South Carolina football vs. Tennessee top prop bets

South Carolina under 22 points

While the Tennessee total sits just under 35 points, the Gamecocks’ number is much lower. And it should be following four consecutive uninspiring performances.

In the four games since the season opener, the Gamecocks have scored just four touchdowns on offense. They’ve reached pay dirt one time each in games against East Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, and Troy.

To put that in perspective, the South Carolina defense has scored twice in that time, and it should’ve been a third if not for a boneheaded play last weekend by Jahmar Brown. Kicker Parker White is almost outscoring the offense, too, having connected on eight field goals over the last four contests.

What that says is that the Gamecocks aren’t consistently moving the ball, and when they do find some success, they aren’t finishing drives with touchdowns. Until this changes, it’s tough to see the Gamecocks scoring three times against an SEC foe.

The Tennessee defense is good, not great, but they should have enough talent to hold the Gamecocks under the 22-point total. Bank on the under.
