A former South Carolina football player made headlines in an NFL feud.

Former Gamecocks defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw made some social media headlines this week as he was seen mocking Steelers wideout Juju Smith-Schuster for dancing on the logo of the Cincinnati Bengals in Monday night’s football game. In what’s becoming a tradition for the receiver, he was seen making a TikTok video before kickoff, this time to the song Adderall (Corvette, Corvette) by Popp Hunna.

The Steelers would struggle in the matchup, going on to lose the game 27-17, and taking a third straight loss following an 11-0 start. And the Bengals made Smith-Schuster pay for his pregame antics, holding the talented pass catcher to just 15 receiving yards and laying the receiver out on a first-half crossing route.

Following the game, Smith-Schuster received a great deal of criticism for the pregame ritual, most believing that he received a healthy dose of karma in Cincinnati. One of those critics was 49ers lineman Javon Kinlaw, who sent Juju a direct message saying, “Them boys hit yo jiggin [explicit] out of that Corvette, huh?”

Smith-Schuster would bop back by calling Kinlaw a ‘female’, and telling him to stay out of his DMs. The Steelers and 49ers won’t meet this year, as San Francisco has been eliminated from the playoff hunt, but the beef could carry over should the teams match up in 2021.

Kinlaw, a former All-American with the Gamecocks, has been solid in his rookie season, totaling 33 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, an interception, and a touchdown.
