There are a few home games on the schedule that pose difficult tests for the Gamecocks in 2020. There’s the season opener versus No. 25 Tennessee, as well as mid-season matchups against Auburn and Texas A&M. Those games will obviously be no cakewalk, but there’s one contest on the slate that will be even tougher to win.

An angry Georgia Bulldogs team will travel to Columbia on Thanksgiving weekend, looking to avenge a double-overtime loss in Athens to the Gamecocks last year. By late November, the Bulldogs will have their sites set on the SEC title game, and won’t be looking for any speed bumps to slow down their eastern division aspirations.
