South Carolina football: three most difficult games on the schedule

2. Florida
Similar to the matchup against the Tigers, South Carolina travels to another tough environment to take on a top 10 ranked opponent in the second week of the year. After its season opener against Tennessee, the Gamecocks travel to the Swamp to take on No. 8 Florida.
The Gators won 11 games last year, including a 38-27 win over the Gamecocks in Columbia, and they look to unseat the Georgia Bulldogs as SEC eastern division champions. South Carolina has had Florida on the ropes in each of the last two seasons, but fourth quarter collapses killed their chances of pulling the upsets.
The Gamecocks will look for just its third-ever win in Gainesville that first week of October.
