South Carolina football: four players looking to make impacts at new positions

There’s been some movement at a few positions on the South Carolina football team.

As the Gamecocks have moved through their first few fall practices, we’ve seen some movement among a handful of players as they transition into new roles ahead of the season’s start. Of those players, a few will be competing to become opening day starters over the next couple of weeks.

These position changes can be seen on both offense and defense as coaches continue to experiment with lineups in order to roll out their best units onto the field. Let’s look at four players who will look to make an instant impact at a new position when the 2020 football season begins.
